Abandoned vehicle and parking infringement fees and charges

The fees and charges below apply to abandoned vehicles and parking infringement.

All fees are stated as GST inclusive and are effective from 1 July 2025. Where the actual fees incurred by Council are higher than the fees shown, the actual costs will be charged.

If a fee or charge for a Council service is not specifically listed below, the charge or fee will be the total of the actual cost of materials and officer time incurred to provide the service, and GST.

Council reserves the right to review any fees and charges at any time, so please check with us for any updates.

 

Parking infringement

Parking infringement fees
Not more than 30 minutes  infringement fee $20.00
More than 30 minutes but not more than 1 hour infringement fee $25.00
More than 1 hour but not more than 2 hours infringement fee $36.00
More than 2 hours but not more than 4 hours infringement fee $51.00
More than 4 hours but not more than 6 hours infringement fee $71.00
More than 6 hours infringement fee $97.00
Parked in an area reserved for disabled persons infringement fee $750.00
Parked on broken yellow lines infringement fee $100.00
Parked on loading zone infringement fee  $70.00
Parked on footpath or cycle path infringement fee $70.00
Parked obstructing an entrance or exit of a driveway infringement fee $70.00
Note: The amount for fines is set at a national level (infringement fees).
