Rates related administration fees and charges

The fees and charges below apply to administrative services related to rates.

All fees are stated as GST inclusive and are effective from 1 July 2025. Where the actual fees incurred by Council are higher than the fees shown, the actual costs will be charged.

If a fee or charge for a Council service is not specifically listed below, the charge or fee will be the total of the actual cost of materials and officer time incurred to provide the service, and GST.

Council reserves the right to review any fees and charges at any time, so please check with us for any updates.

 

Rates related administrative fees
An administration fee will be added to the total value of rates postponed on the first successful postponement application granted on each rating unit.		Actual costs
Annually on 30 June interest will be charged in arrears on rates postponed. This will equate to the Council's average cost of borrowing at that date.		Actual costs
