Book a park, sports field, or picnic area

We have a great range of parks and reserves, sports fields, and picnic areas that can be booked online.

To avoid disappointment, please submit your park booking request at least 4 weeks prior to your planned event.

Once your request has been received, Council staff will check the availability of the park and its features and will contact you to confirm the booking (or to suggest an alternate venue/date). Fees and charges will also be confirmed at this time.

PLEASE NOTE: Submitting an application to book a park is not a confirmed booking.

Book tennis courts

Maidstone Tennis Courts

Enjoy a game of tennis at Maidstone Park's well-maintained public courts. The courts are managed by Upper Hutt City Council and are free to use and open to all. Whether you're a casual player or just starting out, the courts are a great place to get active in your local community.

Bookings are required to ensure fair access for everyone. If you are playing after sunset, please also include the booking of "Lights" option in your request.

Before submitting your booking, you must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions. These are available within the online booking form when you click to make a booking.
Please note that submitting a booking form is a request only.
Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from our Open Spaces and Reserves team.
If you do not receive a confirmation email, your booking has not yet been approved.
