Our long‑term community vision

Our infrastructure planning aligns with the Long Term Plan (2021–2031) and the Infrastructure Strategy, guiding sustainable community growth through projects such as:

  • Maidstone Community Sports Hub (opened March 2024 as Te Kupenga o Rongomai)
  • Artificial turf upgrades, walking and cycling network expansion, and regional cycle trails

These investments help build safer, healthier neighbourhoods and support future-focused growth.
