A short distance from Silverstream Village the Silverstream Amenity Reserve is one of Upper Hutt’s much loved open spaces. The amenity reserve sits alongside Te Awa Kairangi - Hutt River and is home to lots of open space, shade trees, space to picnic, and fresh Upper Hutt air.
Public Toilets
The public toilets are located near the carpark, they are open from dawn until dusk.
River access
There are several areas where you can access Te Awa Kairangi - Hutt River by foot. When swimming in Upper Hutt's rivers please remember to be river safe.
