Our water services are changing from 1 July 2026. Tiaki Wai is the new organisation that will deliver water services across Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Porirua and Wellington from 1 July 2026.
A short bike, bus, or drive from the CBD, or a short walk for residents of Maoribank, Maoribank Park is one of Upper Hutt's well loved neighbourhood sports grounds.
Maoribank Park is home to sports fields, community sport club rooms, a playground, space to stroll, and room to play. It's the perfect destination for some physical fun!
The playground has opportunities to climb, play, jump, and slide.
In winter, Maoribank Park is home to three senior and two junior rugby fields, all of which can be booked on request.
Groups wishing to use this facility for an organised event, outing, field trip, school activity, large gathering etc. must submit a park booking request at least 4 weeks prior to the event.
