Silverstream Park is about to receive an upgrade with a new children’s playground designed to cater for a range of children's ages and abilities.

The park is an important community hub, and as Silverstream continues to grow, this upgrade is designed to ensure that it remains a vibrant and playful space for families.

The newly designed, colourful playground will cater to children aged 1 – 10 years, featuring over 30 engaging activities aimed at maximising both play value and space.

The new features include slides, climbing structures, and interactive play elements that spark imagination and physical development.

WHAT’S NEW

Silverstream Park will see a newly designed, colourful children’s playground for ages 1 – 10 years designed by Playco.

It has over 30 activities, maximising the play value and space capacity of the area.

The playground will be installed by Playco, along with new edging and loose fill by local contractors.

A new set of ACE Swing - 2 Bay will be sourced from Playground People for the new junior play area and also caters for the older children.

Local contractors will install this and provide the loose fill and edging. 

The playground project aligns with the Council’s focus on improving recreational spaces and creating environments that support the well-being and development of our youngest residents.
