We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about increasing physical activity and wellness within the Upper Hutt community!

The Senior Programmes Coordinator - Dry will plan, co-ordinate and deliver customer focused sport leagues, recreation, and play programmes. A significant focus of the role includes the planning and supervision of the H2OXtream school holiday programme.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An active interest in sport and recreation and experience in developing and organising recreational programmes, some of which may require weekend work;
  • Experience and/or appropriate qualifications/skills in planning and delivering successful holiday/after school care programmes;
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to multi-task in a variety of roles as directed;
  • The ability to work autonomously with a high level of initiative;
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent inter-personal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to relate and engage with a diverse range of people;
  • A Full Class 1 (light motor vehicle) licence.

The position is full time; however hours may be flexible for the right candidate. Please note that this role is subject to a police check.
